Why I chose to build a business with Young Living Essential Oils and how it's helping my family

Do you dream of staying at home with your family? Do you already working from home but struggle to maintain the level of work needed to support your family? If so, I need to tell you about why I finally chose to build a business with Young Living.

My Young Living Journey

I honestly never dreamed of starting a business in Network Marketing (beyond the brief stint I did with Mary Kay back in my college days).  The idea alone turned me off for a long time.  I’d support my friends in their business ventures happily, but I had no interest in doing it myself until recently.

Why I chose to build a business with Young Living

I bought my Premium Starter Kit a few years ago, shortly after a few friends of mine started posting about their oils on Facebook. I had dabbled with other brands before to add to my green cleaning recipes, but went with Young Living after hearing everything they had to say.  They were actively pursuing the business at that point, and several of them approached me, but I just kept saying “I already have a business! I don’t have time for another one.”

Then the doubts started creeping in.

I kept watching my friends, and they kept growing.  And growing.  I started to wonder if there was something to it, but I still wasn’t interested in actually pursuing a new business.  I mean, I had a business!

Shortly after that, I started my blog, and started really learning about passive income. The more I read, the more I realized how much I wanted that.  I wanted it bad.

I was tired of watching them from the sidelines.

Over the course of two years, I watched one of my friends do so well with Young Living that she climbed to the very tippy top of the ranks and start pulling in six figures a month. (If you’re interested in checking out Young Living’s income disclosures, you can find those here.) I decided it was time to stop watching and start doing, so I got in touch with her.

“Okay, I’m ready now,” I told her in a message that day.

I can’t even tell you how many doors have opened up to me since I put my “yes” on the table that day.  I really wish someone had been upfront with me about this business from day one.  People told me it existed, but I had no idea what it could mean for me and my family.

This Business Comes with a Community

Opening myself up to this business has put a huge support system at my fingertips.  I’ve been given access to some of the best training there is in this business, and a team that cares enough to help at the same time.   We have over 30,000 team members, as well as smaller groups for a more personal connection. These groups have been an amazing learning resource for my business!

Why I chose to build a business with Young Living

  1. Check Wholesale Member to earn your 24% off any future orders.
  2. Choose the Premium Starter Kit with Home or Dewdrop Diffuser ($160)
  3. Go ahead and just say “No Thanks” for Step 3 about Essential Rewards, unless you think you will want to order monthly! I love ER because you earn points back and receive free products just for being on the program.
  4. Now’s a great time to add anything else you want for your first shipment! I recommend Deep Relief, Peace and Calming, Bergamot, and mayyybe a case of Ningxia, because those samples will NOT last you long. 😉

Follow the process all the way through to the end, where you will receive TWO confirmation emails! One confirming that you signed up, and another confirming your order. Let me know if you don’t get that order confirmation email for any reason.

Time to get educated!

After you’ve gone through the set up process, shoot me a message with your info to let me know you’ve joined the team so we can connect and I can get you added to all of the best groups!

Once you’ve caught your breath from all of that, don’t forget to grab an Essential Oils Reference Guide to help you get the most out of your new oils and decide what you want to try next.  I think it’s really important to have one, especially if you are planning to run this as a business.  I get a lot of questions that I honestly can’t answer, because it’s not something I have ever experienced.  Out comes this handy guide, and I’m able to give a quick, helpful answer and help out a friend!  It’s amazing, and it’s only $15, so get one for yourself!

It’s Time to Build Your Business with Young Living

Once you’ve purchased your kit, sent me an email, and have been added to all of the groups, you’ll have access to all of our teams training videos, recipes, and resources.  It’s been truly invaluable to me as I build my business.  Be sure to watch them all as you have time, peruse the threads for information, and start learning about your oils right away!

Hey Rae! I can understand that. It took me 2 years to give it a shot, but it’s been worth it!

Hey Chelsea! It really is! And it fits so perfectly into my blogging schedule so I don’t feel so torn.

  1. I use DoTerra personally, but I really love YL’s Purification Oil. It’s so awesome! I’m glad you have found somewhere you are enjoying working!

Thanks Kristin! My cousin sells DoTerra. I have tried some of her oils, but I’m not as knowledgeable about them as I am Young Living!
